Sometimes, the hardest lesson comes wrapped in betrayal. I recently experienced this firsthand—someone I considered a friend twisted my words and ran back with a version that had nothing to do with the truth. It was revealed what I needed to see.
Let me say this plainly: integrity matters. What you say behind closed doors should match your character in the light. Not for others, but before God.
📖 “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” — Proverbs 11:3
And can I encourage you with this? ✨ It costs you NOTHING to remove yourself from negative environments and unhealthy people. Protect your peace. Guard your heart. You are not obligated to stay connected to people who mishandle your trust or sow discord.
📖 “Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’” — 1 Corinthians 15:33
Just because you walk away doesn’t mean you’re bitter—it means you’re wise. You’re allowed to outgrow people, patterns, and places that no longer align with your purpose or your peace.
It takes nothing away from you spiritually to cut TIES 👏
💬 Choose integrity. Choose peace. Choose growth.
✨ Walk in integrity.
You don’t owe anyone access to your peace.
➡️ Protect your peace.
➡️ Cut the ties.
➡️ Keep your heart clean.
➡️ Let God handle the rest.
